Delete Account

You can delete your Himachali Match account at any time. All your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

This action is irreversible

Deleting your account will permanently remove your profile, photos, match history, and all messages. This cannot be undone. Your subscription (if any) will not be refunded — cancel it first via Google Play or App Store.

What Gets Deleted

Profile & Personal Information

Name, photos, bio, caste details, education, and all profile fields

Messages & Conversations

All in-app chats and interest requests sent or received

Match History

All accepted, rejected, and pending match interactions

Device & Usage Data

Method 1 — Delete from the App

The fastest way to delete your account is directly through the Himachali Match app:

Open the App and go to your Profile

Tap your profile photo or the profile icon in the bottom navigation

Go to Settings

Tap the gear icon or "Settings" option in your profile menu

Select "Account" → "Delete Account"

Scroll down to find the Account section and tap "Delete Account"

Confirm deletion

Enter your password and tap "Confirm Delete" to permanently remove your account

Method 2 — Email Request

If you cannot access the App, send an email to our support team:

Subject: Account Deletion Request — Himachali Match
Include: Your registered mobile number and/or email address, and the reason for deletion (optional)

We will process your request within 7 business days and confirm via email.

Deletion Timeline

• Account deactivated immediately upon confirmation — no longer visible to others
• All personal data permanently deleted within 30 days
• Anonymized analytics (non-identifiable) may be retained for up to 90 days
• Data required for legal compliance may be retained per applicable law

Changed your mind? You can re-register at any time after deletion.
