- Property type, size, price, and location (district, tehsil, village, pincode)
- Property photographs and videos uploaded by you

- Contact preference settings (show/hide phone number)
1.3 Search & Inquiry Data
- Property searches and filters you apply
- Properties you view, save, or contact sellers about
- Messages sent through our in-app contact system
1.4 Technical Data
- Device type, OS version, and app version
- IP address, browser type (for web users)
- Usage logs, session duration, and feature interactions
- Push notification tokens
1.5 Location Data
We may collect approximate location (district-level) to show relevant nearby property listings. We do not collect or store precise GPS coordinates without your explicit consent.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and property listings
- To display property listings to prospective buyers and renters
- To facilitate contact between buyers and sellers
- To send listing alerts, price drop notifications, and relevant updates
- To prevent fraudulent listings and enforce platform policies
- To improve Platform performance and features using anonymized analytics
- To comply with legal obligations applicable in India
3. Listing Visibility
- Property listings you post are publicly visible to all Platform visitors, including non-registered users.
- Your contact number is shown only if you choose to make it visible; otherwise, interested buyers use our in-app inquiry system.
- You can deactivate or delete listings at any time.
- Listings may appear in search engine results (Google, Bing, etc.).
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following cases:
- Between Users: Listing details (including poster's name and optional contact) are shared with registered users who inquire.
- Service Providers: Cloud hosting, analytics, SMS/notification providers operating under data processing agreements.
- Legal Compliance: When required by Indian law, court order, or government authority.
- Safety/Fraud Prevention: To investigate reported fraudulent listings.
5. Data Security
- All data is transmitted over TLS-encrypted connections.
- Passwords are stored as salted hashes — we never store plain text.
- Uploaded photographs are stored on secure, access-controlled cloud storage.
- We perform regular security audits.
6. Data Retention
- Active listings remain visible until you deactivate or delete them.
- Your account data is retained while your account is active.
- Upon account deletion, your data is removed within 30 days.
- Data required for fraud investigations or legal compliance may be retained longer as required by law.
7. Your Rights
- Access & Correction: View and edit your profile and listings at any time.
- Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data — see Delete Account page.
- Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from marketing notifications via account settings.
- Portability: Request a data export by emailing us.
8. Children's Privacy
Himachali Property is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Any underage account will be deleted immediately upon discovery.
9. Cookies (Web Platform)
Our web platform uses cookies for session management and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect Platform functionality.
