Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Himachali Match mobile application ("App") provided by Himachali Connect, a brand operated by RajatWeb Technologies ("we," "our," or "us"). By installing or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to register and use Himachali Match.
• You must be unmarried, divorced, or widowed and genuinely seeking a matrimonial match.
• You must be legally permitted to marry in India.
• By registering, you represent that all information you provide is true, accurate, and current.

2. Account and Profile

• You may create only one account per mobile number.
• Creating profiles on behalf of others requires their explicit consent.
• Your profile photograph must be a recent, clear photo of you — not of another person, a group, or a landscape.
• All personal details including caste, gotra, education, and occupation must be truthful. Misrepresentation is grounds for immediate termination.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful matrimonial purposes and you agree NOT to:

• Create fake, impersonating, or misleading profiles.
• Contact other users for commercial solicitation, spam, or any purpose other than matrimony.
• Send obscene, abusive, harassing, or threatening messages to any user.
• Share or request explicit photographs or videos.
• Use the App to scam, defraud, or extort other users.
• Collect or harvest other users' contact information for external use.
• Upload content that violates copyright, trademark, or any third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the App or its servers.

4. Verification and Safety

• We verify mobile numbers via OTP but do not independently verify all profile information.
• We do not conduct criminal record checks or financial background verifications.
• You are solely responsible for exercising due diligence before meeting or trusting another user.
• Never share financial information or send money to any user you meet on this App.
• Meet prospective matches in safe, public places and inform a trusted family member.
• Report any suspicious, abusive, or fraudulent profiles to app@himachaliconnect.com immediately.

5. Premium Features and Payments

• Himachali Match may offer free and paid membership plans.
• Payments are processed through Google Play / Apple App Store and subject to their respective terms.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are governed by Google Play / Apple App Store refund policies.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 7 days' prior notice to existing subscribers.

6. Content Ownership

By uploading photos or other content to the App, you grant RajatWeb Technologies (operating brand Himachali Connect) a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use that content within the App for the purpose of providing the service. You retain ownership of your content. We will remove it upon account deletion.

7. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time via App Settings. See Delete Account page.
• We may suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.
• Upon termination, your access to the App and all associated data will cease.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Himachali Match is provided "as is". We make no guarantees that you will find a matrimonial match, or that any user's profile information is accurate. Use the App at your own discretion.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RajatWeb Technologies and its brand Himachali Connect are not liable for:

• Any harm arising from interactions with other users, whether online or offline.
• Any inaccuracy in user-provided profile information.
• Any matrimonial outcome or dispute between users.
• Loss of data due to technical failures beyond our control.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify RajatWeb Technologies, Himachali Connect, and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal costs) arising from your use of the App or breach of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Himachal Pradesh, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. You will be notified of material changes via in-app notification.
